I have loved these speakers for 4 1/2 years... but now they are dead. A design
fault, or faulty batch of components, has killed one of the channels of the amp
and as a result I now question the rationale of buying active speakers.
A quick internet search shows I am not alone and that this seems to have happened to quite a few others. They have even changed the design to improve the heat evacuation in the A5+ so I feel like I have been used as a beta tester.
I am still using amps and speakers bought 25 years ago so why should I put up with a
product who's shelf life isn't even 5 years? With that in mind, they suddenly
seem more expensive...

The YouTube app works fine but I find that often the videos that I search for don't appear in the way they

would if you search online. An example of this is if you searched for "The Beatles" then you would get a ton of

song covers before any of the songs performed by The Beatles.
